Disabled Persons in Panjgur Reportedly Deprived of Government Ramadan Ration

Panjgur:** Hundreds of disabled and special persons in Panjgur District have reportedly been deprived of the government’s Ramadan ration distribution program.

According to estimates, between **1,000 and 1,500 disabled and special individuals** are registered with the Social Welfare Department Balochistan in the district. However, they were allegedly overlooked in the recent Ramadan ration distribution initiative launched under the directives of Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the Chief Minister of Balochistan.

Local sources say many disabled individuals are unable to visit government offices due to mobility challenges. They suggested that the authorities should have delivered ration packages directly to their homes to ensure their inclusion in the relief program.

Residents claim that, as in the past, disabled and special persons have once again been left out of government welfare benefits.
