MP Liaquat Ali Lehri Visits Quetta Girls’ School, Directs Provision of Basic Facilities for Students

Quetta: **Provincial Assembly member and Parliamentary Secretary for Transport, Mir Liaquat Ali Lehri**, paid a surprise visit to **Government Girls High School Satellite Town** to assess the educational environment and address students’ concerns.

During the visit, Lehri inspected various classrooms and expressed serious concern over the **lack of benches**, which forces students to sit on the floor in cold weather. He also highlighted severe **shortages of gas and water**, which are negatively affecting the learning environment.

“Education is the foundation of national progress,” Lehri remarked, emphasizing that **providing basic facilities in schools should be a top government priority**.

He instructed the relevant authorities to **immediately resolve issues related to gas, water, and furniture** to ensure students have a better educational environment. The school principal, **Madam Naseema Malghani**, **Madam Nighat Qadir Magsi**, and school committee member **Arman Achakzai** were also present.

The school administration thanked Lehri, noting that his special attention has **raised hopes for a swift resolution of the school’s problems**.
