Dollar and Saudi Riyal Weaken, Euro, British Pound, and UAE Dirham Gain Value

Karachi: On the last trading day of the business week, the US dollar saw a slight decline in the interbank market while remaining stable in the open market. According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the dollar decreased by one paisa in the interbank market, closing at Rs. 279.40 from Rs. 279.41. In the open market, the dollar was valued at Rs. 280.45.
Meanwhile, the euro increased by 12 paisas to Rs. 327.93, the British pound rose by 70 paisas to Rs. 377.45, and the UAE dirham gained 6 paisas to reach Rs. 76.93. The Saudi riyal also strengthened slightly, rising by 5 paisas to Rs. 75.12.
