Jamaat-e-Islami Leader Criticizes Sheikh Hasina’s Rule Amidst Bangladesh Crisis
Karachi:Jamaat-e-Islami leader Hafiz Naeem has sharply criticized Sheikh Hasina’s governance in Bangladesh, claiming that she ruled through force and alienated her own people.
In his reaction to the current situation in Bangladesh on social media, Hafiz Naeem stated that the 15-year period of repression and pro-India government in Bangladesh has come to an end. He accused Sheikh Hasina of imposing India’s influence on Bangladesh and said that the current turmoil was beyond imagination.
Hafiz Naeem further remarked that Hasina ruled with an iron fist, suppressing her citizens and using India’s support to stifle dissent. He described the end of her “fascist” regime as the result of the sacrifices and struggles of the Bangladeshi people.
The Jamaat-e-Islami leader expressed hope that the Bangladeshi people’s struggle would lead to national stability and prayed for the return of prosperity and genuine democracy in Bangladesh.
This criticism comes in the wake of intense protests in Bangladesh over the past month, which have resulted in hundreds of deaths. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has resigned and fled the country amidst the ongoing violence.
