Hazara Democratic Party Warns Against Middle East Violence, Urges Pakistan to Adopt Wise Foreign Policy

**Quetta:** The **Hazara Democratic Party** has expressed deep concern over the escalating tension in the Middle East following Israeli and U.S. attacks on **Iran**, which resulted in the deaths of Iran’s Supreme Leader and others, describing the situation as a severe humanitarian crisis.

In a statement, the party condemned the reckless use of power and war-driven frenzy in the region, highlighting that refusal to engage in dialogue and failure to play a constructive role for global peace have disrupted the balance of power, leading to worsening crises rather than human welfare. The HDP also criticized international organizations and human rights bodies for appearing paralyzed and negligent while ordinary citizens are caught in conflicts driven by the interests of powerful nations, with repeated violations of international law.

The party urged the Government of **Pakistan** and relevant authorities to adopt a wise and foresighted approach in foreign policy to mitigate the negative effects of rapidly unfolding events in neighboring countries and the broader Middle East. The statement emphasized that regional peace and stability are essential for development, and Pakistan’s foreign policy must prioritize national interests alongside regional security.

The HDP further warned that the attempts by global powers to disrupt the balance of power are pushing the world toward a major catastrophe, which can only be averted through respect for global justice and the sovereignty of independent nations.
