Malala Yousafzai Condemns Deaths and Injuries of Schoolgirls in Iran

**Birmingham:** Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai has expressed deep sorrow over reports of multiple schoolgirls being killed and injured in Iran amid ongoing violence.

In a statement, Malala said she was saddened by the deaths and injuries of female students, emphasizing that civilian casualties—especially involving children—are unacceptable.

She called on the international community to take urgent steps to halt the violence in the region. Malala urged all parties involved to ensure the protection of civilians and safeguard educational institutions from harm.

“Every child has the right to live in peace and receive an education,” she said, stressing that schools must never become targets during conflict.

Her remarks come amid growing global concern over the safety of civilians, particularly children, in areas affected by escalating tensions.
