PTI Parliamentarians Protest Outside Supreme Court Demanding Access for Imran Khan

Islamabad: Members of Parliament from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) staged a protest outside the Supreme Court of Pakistan, calling for hearings of cases against party founder Imran Khan and allowing him to meet with his family.

According to Dunya News, the protest included opposition leader in the Senate Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, along with PTI parliamentarians Salman Akram Raja, Amir Dogar, Shafi Jan, Muhammad Hussain, Shahid Khattak, and others.

Participants also demanded that Imran Khan be examined by his personal doctors.

The protest follows a series of recent demonstrations, including a four-day sit-in by PTI workers on the motorway and opposition members’ demonstration inside the parliament premises. The protest ended after Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Suhail Afridi announced the formation of an “Imran Khan Release Force” to be activated after Ramadan.
