Governor Sindh Emphasizes Equality and Regional Peace During Ramadan Visits

Karachi: Governor of Sindh, Kamran Tessori, visited Namayish Chowrangi, where he spent time with citizens observing the pre-dawn Sehri meal during Ramadan. He interacted with the public and shared his thoughts on social equality, national affairs, and regional issues.
Governor Tessori expressed his hope that those who are eating Sehri today will be able to provide meals for others in the next Ramadan. He emphasized that wealth should not create feelings of deprivation, as material possessions neither bring a person closer to Allah nor make them more beloved.
He stressed that every member of society should be treated equally, regardless of social or economic status, and there should be no distinction between the rich and poor.
Addressing the national situation, Tessori acknowledged that Pakistan is currently facing challenging times but underscored that unity among citizens can help overcome these difficulties. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to peace in the region, noting that participation in the Gaza peace agreement reflected support for oppressed Palestinians, not external pressure.
Governor Tessori also announced that the Governor House will host iftar dinners for 30 consecutive days during Ramadan, where fasting citizens will receive gifts. He concluded by highlighting government efforts to empower citizens and promote social harmony.
