NEPRA Increases Electricity Prices Under Fuel Price Adjustment

**Islamabad (Qudrat Daily):** The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has announced an increase of **Rs 0.28 per unit** in electricity prices under the **Fuel Price Adjustment (FPA)** for the month of December.
According to a notification issued by NEPRA, the revised charges will be **collected in February electricity bills**. The price hike will apply to consumers across the country, including **K-Electric** customers.
However, the authority clarified that the increase will **not apply to lifeline consumers and electric vehicle charging stations**.
The decision comes as part of NEPRA’s routine monthly fuel price adjustment mechanism, which reflects fluctuations in fuel costs used for power generation.
