DICC Meeting Held in Jafarabad to Review Security Situation

**Quetta (Qudrat Daily):** A key meeting of the District Intelligence Coordination Committee (DICC) was held in Jafarabad on February 4 under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Khalid Khan. Representatives of various intelligence agencies, police, FC, and other concerned officers attended the meeting.

The meeting reviewed the overall security situation of the district, maintenance of law and order, security arrangements at middle examination centers, preparations for Kashmir Solidarity Day, and security measures during other expected protest demonstrations. Measures to further strengthen inter-agency coordination were also discussed.

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Khalid Khan said that maintaining peace and ensuring the rule of law across the district would be ensured at all costs, and all available resources would be utilized for this purpose. He directed police and law enforcement agencies to ensure the deployment of personnel at sensitive and important locations to keep a close watch on suspicious elements.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that implementing effective security measures in the public interest is a top priority and that no negligence would be tolerated. He stated that concrete and effective steps would be taken to protect the lives and property of the people, adding that close coordination among institutions plays a vital role in maintaining law and order.

At the conclusion of the meeting, participants stressed the need for enhanced cooperation and continuous coordination to further strengthen security measures across the district.
