Evening Review Meeting on Polio Campaign Held in Kech on DC’s Directives

**Quetta (Qudrat Daily):** On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Kech, Bashir Ahmed Baloch, an important evening meeting regarding the ongoing polio campaign was held on Wednesday at the Deputy Commissioner Kech Office in Turbat. The meeting was chaired by Assistant Commissioner Turbat, Muhammad Hanif Kabzai.
The meeting was attended by District Health Officer Kech Dr. Abdul Raouf Baloch, along with officers and officials from the Health Department and other relevant departments. During the meeting, a detailed review of the ongoing anti-polio campaign in district Kech was conducted, while various aspects related to effective monitoring, existing challenges, and further improvement in performance were discussed.
On the occasion, Assistant Commissioner Turbat expressed satisfaction over the performance of polio teams and directed that polio drops must be administered to children in all remote and hard-to-reach areas of the district to ensure that no child is left unvaccinated. He also instructed the Health Department and concerned officials to ensure strict supervision of polio teams and complete, timely reporting of the campaign in every union council.
Issues faced by field staff were also discussed in detail, and assurances were given for their prompt resolution. At the conclusion of the meeting, it was agreed to further strengthen coordination during the polio campaign to ensure effective access to every household and achieve the goal of a polio-free district.
