No ‘Grievances’ in Balochistan, Terrorists Must Be Called Terrorists Without Ifs or Buts: Rana Sanaullah

Islamabad: Prime Minister’s Adviser on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah has said that there are no aggrieved groups or rights-related issues in Balochistan, stressing that terrorists must be called terrorists without any conditions or ambiguity.
Addressing the Senate, Rana Sanaullah said that criminal activities can be carried out by small groups anywhere, even in relatively secure areas. He stated that in Balochistan, criminal elements stop buses, force passengers to disembark, and kill people from other provinces in front of their families before fleeing. He also referred to attacks on the Jaffer Express, in which innocent passengers were targeted.
Questioning the narrative of “discontent,” Rana Sanaullah asked how such acts of violence against innocent civilians could be justified. He recalled that after the Jaffer Express incident, the bodies of the terrorists were brought to a hospital in Quetta and questioned who took custody of them.
Reiterating his stance, he said there should be no hesitation in labeling terrorists as terrorists, adding that there is no issue of deprivation or political grievance in Balochistan. He alleged that these elements are acting at the behest of hostile forces against Pakistan.
Rana Sanaullah emphasized that decisive action without any ambiguity should be taken against such groups, stating that just as the enemy faced defeat in Maarka-e-Haq, terrorists would also be met with a similar fate.
