Imran Khan Returns to Jail After Minor Medical Procedure at PIMS, Says Information Minister
Islamabad: Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has confirmed that PTI founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan underwent a minor medical procedure and has returned to Adiala Jail.
Speaking to media, Tarar explained that ophthalmology specialists first examined Imran Khan at Adiala Jail. Based on their recommendation, he was taken to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) last week for a minor medical procedure. The procedure was conducted with Imran Khan’s written consent, and after receiving necessary instructions, he was safely returned to jail.
Tarar emphasized that the former PM remained in good health throughout the procedure. He added that all prisoners have access to medical care in accordance with established rules, and the treatment was carried out strictly following the specialists’ recommendations and Imran Khan’s consent.
