Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party Condemns Tirah Valley Operation, Calls Forced Displacement in Freezing Weather Inhumane

**Quetta:** The Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party (PkNAP) has strongly condemned the ongoing military operation in the historic Tirah Valley of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, describing the forced displacement of thousands of residents during extreme cold and snowfall as a cruel and inhumane act.

In a press release issued from the party’s central secretariat, PkNAP stated that the operation, being carried out under what it termed the policies of “colonial rulers,” has resulted in the forced evacuation of local populations at a time when harsh winter conditions have made survival extremely difficult. The party alleged that due to the unjust policies of state institutions, the Pashtunkhwa region is engulfed in violence and instability.

The statement claimed that militant groups were previously settled in central Pashtunkhwa with impunity by the authorities, and that the current operation is now being used as a pretext to displace thousands of civilians from Tirah Valley amid severe cold and snowfall. The party said the situation is particularly catastrophic for women and children, terming it nothing short of a humanitarian disaster.

The Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party demanded an immediate halt to the operation in Tirah Valley and called for the forced displacement of the local population to be stopped without delay.
