Ten Additional Judges of Sindh High Court Take Oath as Permanent Judges

Karachi: Ten additional judges of the Sindh High Court took oath as permanent judges on Tuesday.
The judges who were sworn in as permanent members of the Sindh High Court include Justice Miran Muhammad Shah, Justice Tasneem Sultana, and Justice Riazat Ali Sahar. Others who took oath are Justice Muhammad Hassan Akbar, Justice Abdul Hameed Bhurgari, Justice Jan Ali Junejo, Justice Nisar Ahmed, Justice Ali Haider Ada, Justice Usman Ali Hadi, and Justice Jaffer Raza.
Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court, Justice Zafar Ahmed Rajput, administered the oath to the judges. All ten judges had been serving as additional judges prior to their confirmation.
The oath-taking ceremony was attended by sitting judges of the Sindh High Court, the Additional Attorney General, Advocate General Sindh, Prosecutor General, and a large number of lawyers, along with family members of the newly sworn-in judges.
Meanwhile, Justice Khalid Hussain Shahani and Justice Faiz-ul-Hassan Shah were not confirmed as permanent judges, and their tenure as additional judges has been extended by six months.
