Stepmother Kills 7-Year-Old Girl in Gujranwala, Dumps Body in Drain
Gujranwala:A tragic incident was reported in Gujranwala where a stepmother allegedly murdered her seven-year-old stepdaughter, police said.
According to police, the incident took place in the Habibpura area of Gujranwala, where the stepmother killed the minor girl. After committing the murder, the suspect, along with her accomplice, dumped the child’s body into a drain.
Police launched an investigation after receiving a report about the girl’s disappearance. During the investigation, CCTV footage revealed the suspects riding a motorcycle while carrying something concealed in a sheet. Based on suspicion, police took the suspects into custody.
During interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime. Further investigation is underway, and police said legal proceedings are being carried out against the suspects.
