Key Decisions Taken to Make Pishin Fruit and Vegetable Market Fully Functional

*Quetta (Qudrat Daily):* An important meeting regarding the Pishin Fruit and Vegetable Market was held under the chairmanship of Secretary Agriculture Balochistan, Noor Ahmed Perkani, in which key decisions were taken to make the market fully functional.

The meeting was attended by Director General Agriculture Extension Masood Baloch, Additional Deputy Commissioner Pishin Najam Kakar, Director Economic and Marketing Abdul Khaliq Jogezai, Secretary Market Committee Pishin Shah Zaman Kakar, Administrator Market Committee Pishin Manzoor Ahmed, Union Chairman Ramzan Khan, Union members Abdul Rehman and Ubaidullah, along with other concerned officials.

Addressing the meeting, Secretary Agriculture Noor Ahmed Perkani said that it is the government’s responsibility to provide all basic facilities to traders associated with the market, for which a comprehensive and effective plan has already been prepared. He informed participants that a foundation stone–laying ceremony for the construction of a mosque and other facilities at the Pishin Fruit and Vegetable Market will be held on January 24. Elected members of the assembly, district administration of Pishin, union representatives, and local dignitaries will be invited to attend the ceremony.

He further stated that once the Pishin Fruit and Vegetable Market becomes fully operational, it will not only promote business activities in the area but will also provide significant benefits to farmers associated with agriculture through better market access, fair prices, and improved facilities, thereby contributing to overall economic development of the region.

The meeting also decided that all necessary information and awareness regarding the market will be disseminated through regular advertisements in newspapers by the Market Committee Pishin, ensuring that all stakeholders receive timely updates.
