Wheat Flour Prices Surge Across Pakistan, Citizens Express Concern

**Islamabad:** Flour prices have risen further across Pakistan, intensifying public concerns over the ongoing inflation.

In **Islamabad**, the price of flour increased by **PKR 10 per kilogram**, while in **Lahore**, a 15-kg bag of flour became **PKR 50 more expensive**, reaching a total of **PKR 1,800**.

In **Peshawar**, a 20-kg bag of mixed flour is being sold for **PKR 2,900**, while fine flour of the same weight costs **PKR 3,000**. Similarly, in **Mardan**, the price of a 20-kg bag of flour has **exceeded PKR 3,000**.

In **Quetta**, a 50-kg bag of flour has increased by **PKR 1,000**, marking a **PKR 2,000 rise in just one month**. Dealers attribute the surge in flour prices to the **ongoing wheat crisis**.

The price hike has put further strain on households already struggling with the rising cost of living.
