If India provokes again, we will change its geography into history, says Khawaja Asif

ISLAMABAD (Kuwait News Desk) — Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has warned India, saying that if it “provokes again,” Pakistan would “change its geography into history.”
Speaking during an interview on Geo News’ program Capital Talk, aired on Geo News, Khawaja Asif said that India has not yet recovered from its previous military setbacks and is still “dealing with the consequences.”
He added that if India repeats any aggressive action, Pakistan would respond decisively and alter the regional situation, turning it into a matter of history.
The Defence Minister also commented on broader regional security issues, stating that there is no possibility of renewed U.S. or Israeli attacks on Iran, as other countries in the region are not in favor of further escalation.
On domestic political matters, Khawaja Asif clarified that no discussion has taken place in the federal cabinet regarding the 28th constitutional amendment.
His remarks come amid heightened rhetoric between Pakistan and India following recent statements by the Indian Army leadership.
Earlier, the Indian Chief of Army Staff had reportedly said that Pakistan must decide whether it wants to remain part of geography or history, a statement that drew a strong reaction from Pakistan’s military spokesperson, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
ISPR responded by saying that Pakistan is already an established and recognized nuclear power and an important country in the international system, adding that it is an inseparable part of South Asia’s geography and history.
