Balochistan Sets Historic Milestone with Merit-Based Online Recruitment System

In a historic first for Balochistan, the provincial government has taken a major step toward strengthening merit and transparency by introducing a fully **paperless, merit-based online recruitment system**.
Chief Minister of Balochistan **Mir Sarfraz Bugti**, in a message shared on the social media platform X, announced that **111 government vacancies in the Finance Department** are being filled through **100 percent merit-based online recruitment**, marking an unprecedented reform in the province’s history.
Under the new system, candidates will appear in **online tests**, ensuring transparent evaluation of qualifications. Successful candidates will be issued **appointment letters within one hour** of completing the process.

The Chief Minister stated that this reform initiative is being launched from the Finance Department and will be **gradually implemented across all government departments** in Balochistan.
He reiterated that from day one, the government had made a clear promise to the people of Balochistan that **jobs would not be sold, nor would corruption or nepotism be tolerated**. He added that efforts are being intensified to further strengthen the system of transparency in the province.
“Merit, transparency, and keeping promises made to the public are the foundations of our governance,” Chief Minister Bugti emphasized.
