Over 13,000 Development Projects Launched in Sindh So Far: Sharjeel Inam Memon

Karachi: Sindh Senior Minister and Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that more than 13,000 development projects have been launched across the province so far.
In a statement, he said that 9,193 projects in various sectors have already been completed. He added that development work is being carried out using Rs367 billion in foreign assistance and Rs76 billion under the federal Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP).
The minister said these funds are being utilized for projects in health, education, agriculture, roads, irrigation, and social development. He emphasized that the Sindh government’s development vision is not limited to initiating projects but also focuses on their timely completion and strict adherence to quality standards.
The PPP leader said that the fast-track completion of development projects in Karachi is a key component of the government’s vision. He added that every development initiative in the city aims to improve citizens’ quality of life and strengthen urban infrastructure.
Sharjeel Inam Memon said that upgrade work related to roads, parks, drainage, sewerage systems, and street lighting has been completed in Karachi. He noted that completed schemes under the Karachi Neighborhood Improvement Project have significantly improved living standards for residents.
He also said that on the directions of the Chief Minister, strict implementation of urban master plans is being ensured across the province.
