Viral Photos of Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, and Shraddha Kapoor at Nightclub Debunked as AI-Generated Fakes

Mumbai: Viral images showing Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, and Shraddha Kapoor partying at a nightclub, drinking alcohol, and smoking cigarettes have been confirmed as completely fake. The photos, which spread rapidly across social media, created the false impression that the actors were intoxicated in revealing party outfits.

Digital analysis and fact-checks revealed that the images were entirely created using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and have no basis in reality.

How the Images Went Viral:
The photos first appeared on X (formerly Twitter) and quickly circulated across other social media platforms. Some images showed Deepika Padukone smoking and blowing smoke rings, Shraddha Kapoor holding a glass of alcohol, and Alia Bhatt smiling alongside them. Initially, many users were misled into believing the content was real.

Experts identified technical flaws in the images, such as unnatural facial features and unrealistic lighting effects, confirming their artificial origin.

Fact-Check Findings:
Reputable fact-check websites have declared the images entirely fake. Reports noted that no such party took place during Deepika Padukone’s recent 40th birthday on January 5, 2026, where all three actors could have been together.

Deepika celebrated her birthday at a meet-and-greet event with fans before traveling to New York with her husband Ranveer Singh. Neither the actors’ official social media accounts nor fan pages provide any evidence of the alleged nightclub photos.

Experts’ Warning:
Digital specialists caution that creating AI-generated fake images not only spreads misinformation but also threatens the privacy, reputation, and mental well-being of public figures. Several celebrities, including South Indian actress Srileela, have previously been victims of AI-generated fake content.

So far, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, and Shraddha Kapoor have not issued any official statements regarding the matter.

This incident highlights the dangers of AI misuse and the rapid spread of false information on social media. Users are urged to verify the authenticity of viral images or news before sharing to prevent the dissemination of misinformation.
