Pakhtunkhwa National Awami Party Urges Quetta Voters to Support “Bunch of Grapes” Symbol on December 28

Quetta: The Pakhtunkhwa National Awami Party (PkNAP) has called upon the conscious and courageous people of Quetta to stamp the party’s election symbol “Bunch of Grapes” in the local government elections scheduled for December 28, pledging to free the city from corruption, commission mafia and mismanagement.
Addressing public gatherings in Afghania and Khrotabad, as well as inaugurating party election offices in Hazarganji, Sariab and Chiltan Town, PkNAP Central Secretary Information Muhammad Isa Roshan, Provincial President Nasrullah Khan Zarey and Provincial Deputy Secretary Rehmatullah Sabir expressed confidence that the people of Quetta would support the party’s nominated candidates.
They said that with public backing, PkNAP would lay the foundation of a transparent, people-friendly and empowered local government system and resolve long-standing civic and basic issues faced by the residents of Quetta. The speakers emphasized that the party’s candidates are actively campaigning with dedication, commitment and enthusiasm.
Several other party leaders and nominated councillors, including Akbar Kaleewal, Ubaidullah Baloch, Manzoor Tareen, Haji Zahoor Ahmed Kakar, Ajab Khan, Arbab Imran Kasi, Juma Wafa, Naqeebullah Tareen, Zia-ul-Haq Khan and Malik Alam Gul, also addressed the gatherings and briefed the public about the party’s manifesto, objectives and plans for serving people at the municipal level.
The leaders highlighted that PkNAP has nominated hundreds of capable, competent and people-oriented candidates across all four towns of Quetta, who, if elected, would make local government institutions functional, transparent and responsive to public needs.
The speakers further alleged that certain MPAs and ministers of the ruling parties are openly misusing government resources during the local government elections. They strongly condemned the practice and demanded that the Election Commission of Pakistan take immediate and effective action against those violating the election code of conduct to ensure free, fair and transparent elections.
