Pakistan’s Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Visits Libya, Discusses Enhanced Defence Cooperation

Libya: Chief of Defence Forces of Pakistan, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, paid an official visit to Libya, where both countries agreed to strengthen defence cooperation.
According to ISPR, during meetings with Libya’s Army Chief Field Marshal Khalifa Belqasim Haftar and Deputy Commander-in-Chief Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Haftar, discussions were held on matters of mutual interest, regional security issues, and opportunities to further enhance military and defence collaboration.

Field Marshal Haftar praised the professional expertise of the Pakistani armed forces and expressed his desire to further deepen defence ties between the two nations.
During the visit, the Libyan Armed Forces presented a ceremonial guard of honor to welcome Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, highlighting the significance of the bilateral defence relationship.
