Sindh Government Announces Public Holidays on December 25 and 26 for Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas
The Sindh government has announced public holidays on December 25, 2025, on the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas. In addition, a holiday has also been declared on December 26, 2025, for Christian employees.
According to a notification issued by the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department, the holiday on December 25 will be observed across the province, while December 26 will be a special holiday for employees belonging to the Christian community.
The notification stated that these holidays will be applicable to all government, semi-government and autonomous bodies, corporations and local councils working under the administrative control of the Sindh government. However, employees engaged in essential services will be exempted from the holidays.
