Balochistan CM Pledges Strong, Equitable Health Reforms for a Healthy Future

Quetta: On the occasion of **Universal Health Coverage Day**, Balochistan Chief Minister **Mir Sarfaraz Bugti** emphasized that **quality and accessible healthcare** is not only a fundamental human right but also the primary responsibility of the state. He said the provincial government is taking **practical, sustainable, and effective measures** to fulfill this duty.

The Chief Minister highlighted that **integrated reforms** are underway to strengthen the healthcare sector in Balochistan, aiming to provide citizens with **quick, reliable, and accessible treatment**, whether they live in urban centers or remote mountainous areas.

“For many regions in Balochistan, basic healthcare services are being provided for the first time since the creation of Pakistan, reflecting the **historic and extraordinary initiatives** of the current provincial government,” he said. Mir Sarfaraz Bugti added that **investment in healthcare** lays the foundation for **social stability and a prosperous future**, and comprehensive reforms in government hospitals are being implemented to ensure **free treatment for the underprivileged**.
