Asadullah Baloch Criticizes Murree Agreement, Says It Pushed Balochs into Subjugation

**Panjgur (Qudrat Daily):** Asadullah Baloch, central president of Balochistan National Party (Awami) and member of the Provincial Assembly, inaugurated a blacktop road in Nokabad Tasp, Panjgur. After the ceremony, he spoke to the media, alleging that if BNP-Awami’s development funds had not been withheld, numerous projects in Panjgur would have been completed by now.
He claimed that those in power are displeased with the region’s progress and want to keep the people in subjugation, stating, “A struggle continues between the oppressor and the oppressed, and one day, tyranny and injustice will end.” Baloch emphasized that their party believes in ideology and vision rather than numbers, pointing out that even parties with large representation cannot make an impact without loyalty to the land.
He condemned the Murree Agreement as “the darkest pact in Balochistan’s history,” claiming it enabled political and economic mafias to advance their agendas, leading to the displacement of 20,000 people and the desertion of villages.
Asadullah Baloch vowed to continue defending the rights and developmental interests of Panjgur and Balochistan, stating, “Our mission is to resolve the people’s problems and enhance Panjgur’s beauty. Those who made the Murree Agreement acted against the public interest.” He also highlighted that BNP-Awami’s development work in the area is fully transparent and accessible to the public.
