Female Suicide Attack Plot Foiled in Balochistan, Major Disaster Averted

Quetta: Security forces have foiled a major terror plot by arresting a young ქალი allegedly prepared for a suicide attack by the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), officials said.

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti, along with Provincial Home Minister Mir Zia Langau and other officials, addressed a press conference where the arrested woman, identified as Laiba, was also presented.

During the briefing, Laiba stated that she had been prepared for a suicide mission but was apprehended in Khuzdar before carrying out the attack. She urged women not to become part of any unlawful or extremist activities.

Chief Minister Bugti said that terrorist groups are exploiting بلوچ women and attempting to mislead them. He added that the successful operation prevented a major catastrophe and ensured public safety in the province.

He further noted that the people of Balochistan are increasingly cooperating with authorities by sharing sensitive information, which has helped security forces carry out successful operations and maintain peace in the region.
