Youth of Balochistan Need Jobs and Education, Not Drugs: Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rahman

Quetta (Qudrat Daily) – **Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rahman Baloch**, Amir of **Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan** and member of the provincial assembly, emphasized that it is the fundamental responsibility of the government and ruling powers to provide youth with **employment, education, healthcare, and sports facilities**. He expressed concern over the increasing **drug abuse in Balochistan**, deteriorating sports grounds, and the rising prominence of hospitals and cemeteries in the province.

Speaking during his visit to the **Primary Irrigation Colony in Gwadar**, Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rahman interacted with local elders, teachers, and students. He praised the efforts of educators and education enthusiasts working to maintain sports fields and promote academic activities. During the event, a student recited a **Na’at**, for which Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rahman awarded a **cash prize**.

Accompanied by **DEO Zahid Baloch, Education Officer Hasan Baloch, and Sharif Miah Dad**, he also visited the **Government Primary School Irrigation Colony**, lauding teachers for improving the school’s performance and educational environment.

Earlier, he inaugurated a **community boring project in Naya Abad, Gwadar**, under the **Al-Khidmat Foundation**, aimed at addressing the local water crisis. The inauguration was attended by **Saeed Ahmed Baloch**, Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Gwadar, and **Nadal Ali**, President of Al-Khidmat Foundation. He praised the foundation’s continuous support in providing **relief and assistance** to the public during times of need.

Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rahman called upon the government to fulfill its responsibilities towards the province’s youth and ensure a **healthy, educated, and productive future**.
