Tribal Leader Mir Ata-ur-Rehman Mengal Killed in Targeted Attack in Khuzdar
Khuzdar, Balochistan:Tribal leader Mir Ata-ur-Rehman Mengal was killed in a targeted attack in the Wadh Tehsil area of Khuzdar. According to Levies authorities, the attack took place at the Awaak location near the Aranji area, where Mir Ata-ur-Rehman Mengal was shot at.
The attack resulted in the death of Mir Ata-ur-Rehman Mengal, while his son, Mir Mati-ur-Rehman Mengal, sustained injuries in the assault. Mir Ata-ur-Rehman Mengal was the eldest son of former caretaker Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Mohammad Nasir Mengal.
The tragic incident has sent shockwaves through the region, with authorities launching an investigation into the attack. At this stage, no group has claimed responsibility for the assassination, and the motive behind the attack remains unclear.
