Major Anti-Drug Operation in Khuzdar: 7 Kg Hashish and 2 Kg Ice Seized, Inter-Provincial Female Smugglers Arrested
*Khuzdar (Daily Qudrat)* — In a significant anti-drug operation, Khuzdar police arrested inter-provincial female smugglers transporting narcotics from Quetta to Karachi.
The operation was conducted under the guidance of SSP Khuzdar Shehzada Umar Abbas Babar, supervised by DSP City Circle Mohammad Rafiq Mengal, with SHO City Abdullah Ghazi, Bilal Khan, Abdul Haq Nutani, Shakeel Ahmed, and Hamza Khan executing the raid on the Main RC Road area following a tip-off from a special informer.
During the operation, the women smugglers, Reshma (wife of Dhanari), Gulabo Asiya, and Reshma (wife of Ajay), were apprehended with approximately 7 kilograms of hashish and 2 kilograms of ice (crystal meth) in their possession. Police reported that the suspects transported the drugs from Quetta to Karachi using multiple vehicles and even carried them on their bodies.
Cases have been registered against the arrested individuals, and further investigations are underway. SSP Khuzdar emphasized that a zero-tolerance policy against drug traffickers will continue.
