Those Conspiring Against Parliament Are Enemies of the State: NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq

ISLAMABAD — National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has issued a strong statement defending the supremacy of Parliament, declaring that anyone plotting against the legislature is an enemy of the State of Pakistan.

In an official statement, the Speaker said that all conspiracies against Parliament and democracy will be defeated. He urged politicians who speak of constitutional supremacy while simultaneously undermining Parliament to “look into their own conduct.”

Ayaz Sadiq asserted that there will be **no compromise on the supremacy of Parliament, the Constitution, the law, or public order**. He added that those who sit inside Parliament yet conspire against it are, in fact, working against the interests of the state.

The Speaker’s remarks came shortly after the Parliament approved the **27th Constitutional Amendment**, which the opposition has described as an “attack on the Constitution.”

Ayaz Sadiq emphasized that strengthening Parliament is essential for protecting Pakistan’s democratic system and ensuring political stability in the country.
