Girdi Jungle Afghan Refugee Camp in Chagai Completely Vacated, Homes Demolished

Chagai — **Pakistan’s largest Afghan refugee camp**, Girdi Jungle in Chagai, has been completely vacated, and demolition of homes has begun.

According to sources, following operations by the **Chagai District Administration** and **Dalbandin Rifles**, all Afghan refugees at the camp were **registered and repatriated to Afghanistan**. After the evacuation, authorities started demolishing empty houses and shops within the camp.

Footage from the site shows ongoing demolition of vacant structures, while Afghan refugees were repatriated after proper **documentation and formal procedures**.
