Four Killed as Car Crashes into Trailer on M-1 Motorway Near Swabi

Swabi — Four people, including a man, a woman, and two children, were killed in a tragic road accident on the M-1 Motorway near River Indus (Hand) in Swabi.
According to Motorway Police, the car driver reportedly fell asleep at the wheel, causing the vehicle to lose control and collide with a moving trailer. The spokesperson said the crash was extremely severe, and the car was completely destroyed upon impact.
Motorway Police teams rushed to the scene immediately after receiving the report. The injured occupants, who were critically wounded and trapped inside the vehicle, were pulled out and given first aid before being shifted to Bacha Khan Hospital in Mardan via rescue ambulances.
Officials confirmed that driver fatigue and drowsiness were the primary causes of the accident. Motorway Police urged motorists to practice caution while driving and avoid traveling in a tired or sleepy condition to prevent such tragedies.
