Lahore Woman Missing for Six Years Still Untraced; Police Announce Rs 500,000 Reward for Information

LAHORE – A woman allegedly abducted from Lahore’s Kahna area remains missing even after six years, prompting police to seek public assistance for her recovery. Authorities have announced a reward of **Rs 500,000** for anyone providing credible information about the missing woman, Fozia.

Police have circulated posters with her photograph across all police stations in Lahore. According to officials, all available investigative methods—including **geo-fencing**—have already been exhausted in an attempt to trace her.

The missing woman’s mother had earlier claimed that her daughter was “taken away by jinns,” a statement that attracted widespread attention. The case was originally filed in **2019**, and the Lahore High Court had given the police until **20 November** to ensure her recovery.

In September, Lahore Police also formed a **special investigation team** to trace Fozia, who was the mother of two children at the time of her disappearance. A police spokesperson stated that the team was working to locate the woman who, according to the family’s unusual claim, had been abducted by supernatural beings.

Despite years of searches and multiple investigations, the woman’s whereabouts remain unknown, and police are now appealing to the public for assistance.
