Saudi Arabia Reaffirms Stance on Israel Ahead of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s U.S. Visit

**Riyadh (Qudrat News)** – Ahead of Crown Prince **Mohammed bin Salman’s** upcoming visit to the United States, Saudi Arabia has reiterated its principled stance on establishing relations with Israel, signaling that any agreement remains contingent on progress toward Palestinian statehood.

According to Reuters, U.S. President **Donald Trump** has repeatedly claimed that Saudi Arabia has agreed to normalize ties with Israel, but sources indicate that such a step is unlikely during the Crown Prince’s scheduled U.S. visit this month.

Saudi officials conveyed to Washington that their position on Israel has not changed and that they will only sign any agreement if a clear roadmap for recognizing a Palestinian state is in place. The message was sent to prevent diplomatic misunderstandings and to clarify the positions of both Saudi Arabia and the United States before and after talks at the White House.

Normalization with Israel would mark a historic shift in the Middle East, potentially reshaping the region’s political and security landscape and strengthening U.S. influence. Countries that have already established ties under the Abraham Accords include the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Morocco.

Experts, including American think tank analyst **Panikoff**, suggest that Mohammed bin Salman is likely to use his discussions with Trump to assert influence on establishing a sovereign Palestinian state.

The U.S. visit will also be the Crown Prince’s first to Washington since 2018, when the killing of journalist **Jamal Khashoggi** at the Saudi consulate in Turkey sparked international outcry, with direct allegations against Mohammed bin Salman, which he has denied.
