Saudi Arabia Launches World’s First Official Indoor Electric Formula E Karting Track
ABHA: Saudi Arabia has launched what is described as the world’s first public official Formula E indoor karting experience in the city of Abha, offering visitors an environmentally friendly electric racing experience.
The state-of-the-art indoor track stretches approximately 428 metres and features specially designed electric karts for both adults and children.
The unique project aims to provide racing enthusiasts with an exciting entertainment experience while also raising awareness about electric vehicle technology and sustainable mobility.
The initiative is part of Saudi Arabia’s efforts under Vision 2030 to expand the tourism and entertainment sectors and promote innovative, technology-driven recreational attractions.
The indoor electric karting experience is expected to offer visitors an opportunity to experience Formula E-inspired racing in a controlled indoor environment while highlighting the potential of electric mobility.
