MDCAT 2025 to Be Held on October 26, Announces PMDC

Islamabad: The **Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC)** has announced that the **Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2025** will be conducted on **October 26, 2025**.

According to details, a total of **140,125 candidates** have registered for the exam, which will be held at **35 test centers across Pakistan** and **one international center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia**.

The MDCAT exam will be conducted by **designated universities**, not directly by the PMDC. The council has shared the **exam policy and framework** with all participating universities and granted them access to the **National Item Bank**.

Universities are required to adhere strictly to **PMDC standards** during **paper setting, development, and printing**. They have also been instructed to conduct a **pre-hoc analysis** of the question papers to eliminate any **out-of-syllabus questions** and ensure **confidentiality** of the exam materials.

Additionally, question papers will only be opened **in the presence of official witnesses**, and **admit cards** will be issued to candidates **seven days before the exam**. Universities must **announce the official results within seven days** after the test.
