Karak Police Achieve Major Success as Key Member of Banned Outfit Surrenders to the State

Karak: In a significant achievement, **Karak Police** announced that a **key member of a banned organization** has **surrendered before the state**, marking a major step toward restoring peace in the region.
According to police officials, the surrendering individual, known as **Sahil**, was associated with a **proscribed militant outfit**. He **turned himself in** to law enforcement and the **State of Pakistan** through the mediation of the **Khattak Ittehad**.
District Police Officer (**DPO**) **Shehbaz Elahi** stated that effective operations against anti-state elements are ongoing under his supervision. “The doors of the state are always open for those who admit their mistakes,” he said, welcoming all individuals willing to **rejoin the national mainstream**.
President of **Khattak Ittehad**, **Alhaj Mudasir Ayub**, revealed that several other misguided youths are also preparing to surrender soon.
During his surrender, **Sahil confessed** that the banned outfit was **working on a foreign agenda**, aiming to **weaken Pakistan** and **harm its citizens**. He stated that these groups exploit religion to mislead youth and attack the very **fortress of Islam — Pakistan**.
Religious scholars present on the occasion condemned such extremist elements, declaring that those who shed innocent blood under the guise of Islam are **not connected to any faith**, emphasizing that **Islam stands for peace, love, and humanity**.
A **Karak Police spokesperson** said the development sets a **positive example for other misled youths**, reaffirming that **the State of Pakistan provides every citizen the opportunity for reform and reintegration**.
