Missing Child’s Body Found in Garbage Dump in Karachi’s Landhi

Karachi:The body of a **7-year-old boy, Saad Ali**, who had been missing for six days, was recovered from a garbage dump in **Landhi’s 36-B Lal Mazar area** on Tuesday.
According to police, the boy’s body was found stuffed in a sack and was shifted to Jinnah Hospital, where he was identified as Saad Ali, son of Salman Ali.
Police said Saad had gone missing on **September 18** from near the meat market in Landhi’s B-Area, and a missing person’s case had been registered at Landhi Police Station. Authorities added that investigations are underway to determine whether it was a murder or some other cause of death.
The victim’s father, visibly distraught, told reporters that Saad was his **only son**. He had left home to buy something with money given to him but never returned. “We searched for him for five days without any help,” he added.
The boy’s father and uncle alleged that police showed negligence and failed to assist in locating the child. They appealed to senior authorities for justice and demanded the immediate arrest of those involved in the suspected abduction and murder.
