PTI Leaders Demand Hospital Transfer for Bushra Bibi Over Health Concerns
Islamabad: Several imprisoned leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have called for the immediate transfer of Bushra Bibi to a hospital, citing serious concerns over her deteriorating health.
According to details, senior party figures including Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Yasmin Rashid, Omar Sarfraz Cheema, Ejaz Chaudhry, and Mian Mahmood ur Rasheed issued a statement through their lawyer from Kot Lakhpat Jail.
The leaders expressed deep concern over Bushra Bibi’s health, alleging that she is being subjected to political victimization. They urged authorities to ensure immediate and comprehensive medical care, including her transfer to a hospital for proper treatment.
The statement also called on the courts to urgently hear her appeals for suspension of sentences in what they described as “false cases,” and to order her immediate release
