PkMAP to Hold Historic Public Gathering in Loralai on October 7

Loralai:The **Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP)** announced that it will organize a **historic public gathering in Loralai on October 7** to mark the anniversaries of the **Martyrs of Democracy (1983)** and the **Martyrs of the Nation (1991)**.
The decision was finalized during a **district committee meeting** chaired by PkMAP’s provincial president **Abdul Qahar Khan Wadan**, attended by senior leaders including **Jabar Khan Utmankhel**, **Abdul Haq Abdal**, **Kabir Afghan**, and others. Committees were formed to oversee preparations, with workers instructed to begin campaigning, distribute pamphlets, and mobilize the public.
Party leaders said PkMAP has always stood for **constitutional supremacy, parliamentary sovereignty, equality of nations, and a truly federal democratic structure**. They reiterated the party’s long-standing demand for a **united autonomous Pashtun province (Pashtunistan/Pashtunkhwa)**, control over local resources, and official recognition of the **Pashto language** in education, judiciary, and trade.
They added that the October 7 rally would pay rich tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for democracy and the Pashtun cause, calling on the people of Loralai to participate in large numbers as a show of **solidarity, democracy, and national pride**.
