Ali Pur Completely Submerged, Heavy Losses Reported: Marriyum Aurangzeb

ALI PUR: Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that Ali Pur has been completely submerged, causing massive destruction, and an assessment of flood-related damages has begun.

On the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the senior provincial minister visited Ali Pur and Seet Pur to review the situation. After visiting Seet Pur during the day, she returned to Ali Pur at night to oversee relief operations.

Aurangzeb ensured the supply of tents to the inner areas of Seet Pur and met flood-affected families at relief camps. She told the victims, *“Your sister, daughter, and mother Maryam Nawaz has sent me to stand with you in your time of distress. We will compensate your losses.”*

She added that cooked food, dry rations, tents, and other relief items are being delivered to flood-hit areas of Seet Pur.

The senior minister stressed that Ali Pur has suffered enormous losses, and the damage assessment process has already begun. She further said that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has directed the district administration to determine the individual losses of every flood-affected person.
