CM Sarfraz Bugti: “Balochistan United Against Terrorism, Resources Belong to the People

Qila Saifullah:Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti, addressing a public gathering in Qila Saifullah, declared that the people of the province stand as a **solid wall against terrorism**.

He strongly condemned acts of violence carried out in the name of religion or ethnicity, stressing that such actions have **nothing to do with public rights or development**. *“Those who pick up arms in the name of religion are enemies of faith, as Islam teaches peace and brotherhood. Similarly, those who take up weapons in the name of nationalism or rights are only advancing an anti-state agenda,”* he said.

Referring to the recent **suicide attack in Quetta**, Bugti condemned the killing of innocent citizens and travelers, calling it an **unpardonable crime**. He reassured the people that Balochistan is united against terrorism and will never surrender to such forces.

The Chief Minister also emphasized that while **peaceful protest is a constitutional right**, blocking roads and causing public suffering is unlawful and unacceptable.

Bugti announced several **development projects for Qila Saifullah and surrounding areas**, vowing that the **first right over Balochistan’s mineral resources belongs to its local people**. *“No one will be allowed to plunder these resources. I stand as the protector of people’s rights, and any attempt to occupy provincial resources will be foiled,”* he asserted.

Highlighting the importance of **tribal respect and unity**, he said no force could break the bonds of brotherhood. He called upon tribal elders, youth, and women to actively participate in the province’s progress and prosperity.
