Aleema Khan Alleges Sons Arrested to Pressure PTI Founder Imran Khan

Rawalpindi: Aleema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has claimed that her sons were arrested to put pressure on the former prime minister. She stressed that Imran Khan is standing firm against injustice and that the family remains united with him.

Speaking to the media after attending the hearing on her son **Sheer Shah Khan’s bail petition** in the Jinnah House attack case at an anti-terrorism court in Lahore, Aliema Khan said the proceedings were delayed as the investigating officer failed to present the case file. “The police have instructions not to produce the file, although bail has already been granted in this case to others,” she alleged.

Aliema Khan said she and her sisters were heading to **Adiala Jail** to meet their brother on his scheduled visitation day. She also mentioned that the hearing of the **Toshakhana-II case** against Imran Khan had been postponed.

Demanding a complete medical checkup for Imran Khan, she said, “The entire nation wants to hear about the PTI founder’s health. He has told us that keeping him in prison like this cannot break him.”

Reiterating her stance, she said her sons’ arrests were politically motivated: “They only want to pressure the PTI founder. This is our country, and we are ready to sacrifice for it. Imran Khan is standing against oppression, and we all stand with him.”

She confirmed that Sheer Shah Khan’s bail hearing would continue tomorrow, adding, “Allah is the ultimate judge, and we have left everything to Him.”
