Possibility of Light Rain in Karachi and Coastal Areas of Sindh

Islamabad:Today, there is once again a possibility of light rain in Karachi and coastal areas of Sindh.

The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in some parts of Punjab and Balochistan today.

Additionally, the Meteorological Department has forecast further rain across the country during the next week. Moisture-laden monsoon winds from the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal are expected to enter the country, resulting in rainfall.

From today until July 27, rain is expected in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Clouds will prevail in Islamabad, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from Monday to Thursday, while rain is expected in parts of Balochistan and Sindh on Tuesday and Wednesday.

According to a spokesman for the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the monsoon’s fourth spell will commence in Punjab from July 22. Monsoon rains in Punjab are predicted from July 22 to 25.

During July 23-24, thunderstorms with gusty winds and lightning are possible in southern Punjab. Rain is expected in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Multan, DG Khan, Bahawalpur, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, and Gujrat.

The spokesman for the Pakistan Meteorological Department has issued an alert to the relevant authorities regarding the weather conditions.

**Temperature in Sindh Cities:**

On the other hand, yesterday, the highest temperature in the country was recorded at 46 degrees Celsius in Jacobabad and Turbat.

It was 44 degrees Celsius in Dalbandin, Nokkundi, Larkana, and Mohenjodaro, 42 degrees Celsius in Sukkur, 41 degrees Celsius in Muzaffarabad, 40 degrees Celsius in Islamabad, Peshawar, Multan, Dera Ismail Khan, and Thatta, 39 degrees Celsius in Karachi, Lahore, and Faisalabad, while it was 36 degrees Celsius in Quetta and Gilgit.
