High-Level Meeting on Security: Strong Action Against ‘Fitna-e-Hindustan’ and Terrorism Vowed

Quetta: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti chaired a high-level security meeting focused on the overall law and order situation and ongoing operations against ‘Fitna-e-Hindustan’.
The meeting was attended by the Inspector General of Police, IG FC North, DIG CTD, DIG Special Branch, DG Levies, and senior officials from the Home Department and law enforcement agencies.
Chief Minister Bugti briefed participants on current security measures, implementation of the provincial action plan, and challenges hindering its execution. The participants agreed on enhanced coordination and a comprehensive strategy to counter threats.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi declared that terrorists associated with ‘Fitna-e-Hindustan’ will meet a grim end. He pledged to bring India-sponsored terrorists and their facilitators to justice and stated that those challenging the writ of the state will be dealt with an iron hand.
He emphasized that the federal government stands fully behind the Balochistan government in the fight against terrorism. “The ground has been made narrow for anti-Pakistan elements,” Naqvi said.
Chief Minister Bugti asserted that this is not just the security forces’ war but the war of the entire nation. He confirmed that operations against elements involved in subversion and terrorism have been intensified. Bugti stressed that the state institutions in Balochistan are operating in complete harmony and that the sacrifices of the security forces and the public will not go in vain—peace will be established at all costs.
