PTI Rejects Appointment of Judges, Announces Supreme Judicial Council Approach

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has rejected the appointment of judges and announced its decision to approach the Supreme Judicial Council. PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar stated in a media conversation that the appointments of Adhoc judges are based on impropriety in the Supreme Court. The matter of appointing Adhoc judges has been referred to the Supreme Judicial Council to ensure the placement of like-minded judges. Gohar emphasized that the judges should not politicize the issue. Four judges have been summoned together during the holidays.
Meanwhile, PTI leader Omar Ayub, speaking to the media, said, “Our assembly members are being targeted with false cases by agencies. Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi, and all our prisoners have cases filed against them. We strongly condemn all these bogus cases.” Bibi’s warrant has also been issued. The NAB team re-arrested her in false cases. Qazi Faiz Essa has requested regarding Adhoc judges that these judges should not hear our cases. No one can point a finger at our patriotism.
Senator Shibli Faraz said, “In the past two years, this system has deteriorated badly. The ruling clique is incapable of understanding how public opinion can be changed. It would be an extremely foolish move to impose restrictions on the party. The constitution and law are being trampled upon.”
PTI leader Asad Qaiser said, “The country is currently in a state of anarchy. Pakistan has been turned into a lawless land. Lawlessness is spreading at the point of the gun.”
