A Walk of Diplomacy, Friendship, and Camaraderie: Shahbaz Sharif, Erdogan, and Aliyev Share Pleasant Moments in Khankendi

Khankendi: After the conclusion of the ECO Summit, Khankendi witnessed a captivating sight when Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev took a leisurely stroll together, engaging in conversation and strengthening the bonds of friendship with every step.
President Aliyev not only introduced the guests to Khankendi’s historical landmarks but also personally guided them through the rich history of the city. Breaking away from the traditional diplomatic protocol, the three leaders walked, laughed, and chatted in a relaxed, informal manner, showcasing the spirit of friendship, unity, and regional cooperation.
The casual conversation extended beyond the walk when President Aliyev personally drove Prime Minister Sharif to the historic city of Shusha, where a special luncheon was arranged. This moment transcended traditional diplomacy, symbolizing personal ties and brotherhood between the leaders.
Global affairs experts have described this growing closeness between Pakistan, Turkey, and Azerbaijan as a breath of fresh air in diplomatic circles, where humanity and sincerity take precedence over politics.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has concluded his two-day visit to Azerbaijan and returned to Pakistan.
