Landowners in Khuzdar Accuse Former Deputy Director of Corruption

Khuzdar:Residence landowners including Vadehra Abdul Khaliq Nethwani, Abdul Taif Nethwani, Abdul Haleem Nethwani, Sanaullah Bajoi, and others held a press conference at the Khuzdar Press Club, alleging that the Agriculture and Water Management Department under former Deputy Director Khuzdar made false promises to the simple folk of Moola Pashta Khan. In 2019, they were assured of solar panels, pipeline installation, and a grant of televisions after conducting a survey of our lands. We have spent millions over the past five years, but recently, under various pretexts, we have been misled and not provided with anything. Instead, we have been duped into spending millions.

They stated that all landowners in other areas have been given solar panels, televisions, and pipelines on recommendation sites, but the simple people of Moola Pashta Khan have been left with mere consolation prizes, drowning them in millions of rupees. They further added, “All documents of our 11 landowners are complete, and we have also been issued orders, but the former deputy director committed clear corruption, swindling us out of crores in the name of our lands. We are weak and poor, exhausted from running around all offices every day, yet we are unable to get any relief.”
